Housed in the Historic Hynds Building, Art@the Hynds is an artist collaborative where the works of Donna DuPont Schultz, Morgan Martin, and Kristin East can be seen. Emma’s Old Time Photos is also located in the space. These three artists will also be featured during the May 6th First Friday Artwalk.
Donna DuPont Schultz: My life is woven together as an Artist and a Teacher. I am currently teaching children, adults and groups out of my studio at Art @ the Hynds. I work with oil and acrylic paint, pastels and mixed media. I’ve experimented with a variety of styles, techniques, and mediums so I can teach someone based on their interests and styles. My classes are fun and educational embracing the beginner to more advanced students. My art is for sale and very affordable. I am also available for commissioned work. I have been tutored by a number of professional artists including Mike Beeman, Donald “Putt” Puttman and Chuck Ceraso. I have worked for Grumbacher art supplies as an instructor. Please contact me to sign up for classes at firstname.lastname@example.org or 307-638-1395.
Morgan Martin and Heritage Creative: Morgan has been creating art through photography for many years. She has a passion to capture organic photos and many of her photos are untouched or edited. She combines her passion for history and nature together to focus on Architectural and Landscape photography. Morgan also is dabbling in fine art, working in multi-media pieces as she has spare time. The Heritage Creative
Denise Patton: Her past work includes murals, one of which was commissioned by Downtown Cheyenne to commemorate the long relationship between the City and the Military. Her interest in art, and materials available for artistic expression, began with murals. Her experience as a designer, theater set and museum exhibit builder, fine artist, gallery owner, and museum director opens up a world of materials and techniques for personal expression. The art integrates both traditional structure and lyrical, organic movement, whether in time-tested watercolors, oils, pastels, or in contemporary multi-media. Denise’s studies include Laguna Gloria Art Museum in Austin, TX, and Minnesota Center for Book Arts. Studio assistantships to public artist Richard Posner, stone sculptor Perry Davis, the late papermaker Ray Tomasso, and printmaker Margaret Sunday also influence Denise’s work.
Emma’s Old Time Photos Emma’s Old Time Photos: Let Emma’s help you create the souvenir you “Had to Be There” for! Emma’s Old Time Photos lets you save a memory today for your future of the way things were in the past.
