Blue Door Arts has the honor of showing Shelby Shadwell’s extraordinary drawings for the February Artwalk. Shadwell is an Associate Professor of Drawing at the University of Wyoming.
His drawings are brilliant visual arrangements exploring his skill, their execution and concept as well as their amazing large scale. Shadwell explores the rich visual range and color of black to white while focusing on every day objects such as tied black plastic bags, baby diapers and the common household pest, the cockroach.
This show is a tremendous visual treat and opportunity for Cheyenne and the southeast area to view work worthy of any major metropolitan art museum. He is a two time recipient of the Visual Arts Fellowship from the Wyoming Arts Council and exhibits across the nation.
